The Unfolding of 2026
Welcome to 2026!
You may be wondering what 2026 has in store for us. From an energetic standpoint, it is powerful energy that promises transformation.
In this article, I will share about the 2026 Chinese New Year, the year in numerology, and several messages from channelers about what to expect in the months ahead.
Chinese New Year
The Chinese New Year begins on February 17, coinciding with a Solar Eclipse.
We are closing out the 2025 year of the Wood Snake; a year in which we were pushed to shed what no longer serves us. During these final 2 weeks of the snake, you may be faced with opportunities to do a final purge of the activities, relationships, and material items that don't resonate with you anymore.
2026 is the year of the Fire Horse! Now that we have shed the old, this year promises to bring us galloping forward! The Fire Horse represents an intense energy in which we have the momentum to move forward and transform in the direction that serves our highest good. Get ready for movement in your life.

In numerology, 2026 is a 1 year.
2 + 0 + 2 + 6 = 10
1 + 0 = 1
A 1 year is the start of a 9-year cycle. It's a time of new beginnings in which we are invited to start new initiatives, choose fresh paths, and begin shaping the future ahead.
This is a powerful time to try something new and see what unfolds!
Channeler Messages
At the beginning of each calendar year, many Intuitives and Channelers put out readings of the energy of the year. Several of these messages landed deeply with me, and I thought you might be inspired! I share two of the most interesting messages I have heard.
1. In this 60 minute interview, Pam Gregory (astrologer) interviews Kelly Kolodney. Kelly is known for channeling Archangel Raphael, the angelic Healer who also purifies the Earth. His message for 2026 profoundly affected my perspective of the planet and our role here.
Here is a summary of the channeled message from Archangel Raphael:
- The Earth is undergoing an upgrade. As the icebergs and Himalayan icecaps melt, they are releasing ancient codes into the water that have been trapped in the ice for thousands of years. As these codes enter our water supply, they will raise the frequency of the Earth and transform our existence.
- Water is a great conductor and magnifier of energy. Water exists within every living thing (from plants to animals to amoebas). It flows in streams and rivers and accumulates in ponds and oceans. Water evaporates into the air. It can be consumed and then moves through us, returning to nature for its next step.
- Our role this year is to bless the water. If we infuse the water with gratitude, love, peace, and other blessings, those vibrations will be carried throughout the Earth and it's living things, raising the frequency of all. Bless the water you drink (it will be more absorbable and cleansing for your body). Bless the water in the lakes and oceans. Bless the water in the slush and snow.

2. In this 10 minute clip, Pam Gregory interviews Lee Harris (an intuitive and channeler). Lee channels the Zs, who talk about big changes coming up in 2026 including financial system shifts and changes to how we show up in the world. He reminds us not to engage in suffering, but to seek higher vibrations like Joy. Lee talks about the quickening of time and how to reset your nervous system.
